The region consists of five dynamic cities: Lancaster, Palmdale, Ridgecrest, Tehachapi and California City. Each has its own unique attraction and personality. The area is served by Metrolink, daily commuter bus service and a number of private transportation companies.
For the future, plans are underway to continue to expand the transportation infrastructure, in order to meet anticipated growth. These plans include service on the California High Speed Rail system, commercial airline service at Palmdale Airport and Inyokern Airport, continued expansion of Highways 14, 58 and 138, and the future “High Desert Corridor” to connect the Victor Valley.
Life above the Los Angeles Basin means room to grow. In fact, the Southern California Association of Governments has predicted that North Los Angeles County will grow by 169% between 2000 and 2025, the highest growth projection rate in all of Southern California.
Clean air, natural beauty, an abundant work force, independent air quality management districts and open land measured by the square mile, not the square foot makes the Antelope Valley a destination location for companies seeking a home with the “Right Stuff.”
Next door to Los Angeles but a world away. The High Country welcomes you!
